I live and work in Asheville, NC on the ancestral lands of the ᏣᎳᎫᏪᏘᏱ Tsalaguwetiyi (Cherokee, East) and S’atsoyaha (Yuchi) peoples, near the waters of the French Broad River (ᎢᏅᏗ ᎤᏪᏴ, Unvdiyi Uweyu). My commitment is to walk with this land and these waters in a spirit of care and respect and amplify the voices of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and other local Indigenous communities.
